Transmissions investigates technology’s effect on the ancient ways, and how the two conjoin in modern day; c oncrete is numinous, electrical lines are a portal.

I have become entranced by the power hub at the end of my street. I have grown up listening to its song, none the wiser to the power it emits.

But now I’ve awoken to that humming sound,
audible pulse of energy,
consistent low frequency,
rhythmic hum.

Using digital manipulation, sound and video I construct narratives that allude to a semi-surreal world that coexists with ours.
